According to Scripture (I Timothy 3), those who desire to be officers in the church desire a noble task.  And with that task comes a great deal of humility, commitment and many opportunitites to be Gospel Pacesetters.

The Session of Christ Community Church has designated July as the month each year where the congregation is asked to identify those men in our midst who could be candidates for the offices of elder and deacon.

The Servant Leadership Development Committee has compiled a description of how our church government works; the responsibilities of our officers; their calling; and guidelines for our congregants to use when recommending a candidate for deacon or elder.
