The modular design of our 5th grade program is meant to be the spring board for our Elementary students as they prepare to enter Jr. High. The scope and sequence of the Children’s Ministry here at CCC, provides our youngest children with an emersion in Bible stories which leads to a more thematic approach to those stories in K-3rd grade. The study of Catechism in 4th grade takes these Biblical themes and puts them in a theological context so that by the time they are 5th graders they are ready to apply the theology they have learned to real life situations as they transition to Jr. High. Our goal is that they are able to “Live Out Loud” what they believe.
