Thank you to all who planned, prayed, prepared, worked, and came together to make this weekend possible. Pictures of the weekend are available here. If you took pictures over the weekend, you would like to share, please email them to Cissy Fleet.
The weekend of August 26-28 will be an exciting time for the CCC family as we join together for Come Together 2011 on the CCC grounds.
This very special time of fellowship for our church will include:
- Friday Night: A tailgate party at 5:00 pm before the football games. Bring your best tailgate fare and meet in the back parking lot. 8:30 p.m. & 10:00 p.m. - Drive In Double Feature Movie. Snacks and refreshments available for purchase.
- Saturday Morning: 9:00 a.m. - noon - A family worship experience for kids and grown-ups alike featuring Diana Batarseh. Followed by a family carnival with games and fun activities for kids of all ages.
- Saturday Afternoon - Connections Out of Chaos: 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. A team-based group activity on the CCC "Back 40". We recommend you wear your swim suit under your clothes, wear shoes in which you can traverse the fields, and you might consider bug spray also. All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-register so that you are assigned to a team. Registration Available on line, click here.
- Saturday Evening: Join us Saturday evening for a night of food and music, including an outdoor concert Saturday night. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. with vendors on site for you to purchase dinner or you can bring your own dinner. At 7:00 p.m. Gordon Kennedy, Rick Florian, Mark Gersmehl and others will take the stage for a free outdoor concert. This promises to be a musical feast so make plans now to be there. Check it out on Facebook. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and meet us on the north lawn of Christ Community Church.
- Sunday Morning: 9:00 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. Family Worship time for the CCC Community. Please note that due to the special nature of Worship this day, some of the chairs in the Worship Center will be removed allowing those who wish to sit on the floor. If you would like to bring a blanket for your family and/or friends to sit upon, please feel the freedom to do so.
