For each 10 x 10 garden patch, we recommend about 3 bails of peat moss for ammending the soil. If you're not sure what this is, just ask a salesman where you are buying it.
Add this along the row you are planting by sprinkling it on top of the ground until the ground is covered. Once your plants are down, add some Black Cow Manuer around the plant (suggest 2 or 3 bags of this)
You may get these supplies at Home Depot, Lowes, Co-op, or garden centers.
One tiller is available at the site if you need it.
If the soil is wet, do not till. It will just set up like cemment and be hard to work with later.
