The Real Simple Retreat is intended to clear space for true community among women in the context of His people.  We so look forward to your participation this year.

This promises to be a very meaningful weekend.  Preparations have been underway to create an environment in which every woman has an opportunity to feel connected, enriched by being together in intimate small group discussion, coorporate worship and plenty of free time to just be together. 

We want every woman to know their lives are seen and heard by the Lord and by sisters in the body of Christ as they share episodes from their lives with each other. 

We want every woman to be rested and renewed - to have a complete break from the responsibilities of the day to day.

The emphasis this year is on the small group experience.  Leaders are being trained in facilitating groups of 5 - 8 women in which to share an episode from their life story. 

Instead of one speaker, four will share profiles of the Mothers of Jesus -- episodes from the word of God that give us a glimpse of the salvation history being written in their individual stories.

There will be corporate times of worship as well as unstructured times for reflection.

Of course what makes CCC retreat experiences rich is the unstructured time to just be together to talk, to laugh and play.  We have even reserved the zipline for Saturday afternoon!
