We need your help in Children's Ministry.

There are a variety of ways you can hlep transform lives of our covenant children. Commitments range from once a month to weekly. Regardless of where you feel called, we are eager to help you apply your gifts and talents.

Elementary Sunday School Volunteer needs at 9:00

Kindergarten: 3 small group leaders, twice a month

1st grade: 2 small group leaders, twice a month

2nd grade: 2 small group leaders, twice a month

1 Master teacher twice a month

3rd grade: 2 small group leaders, twice a month

Wing Supervisor on 1st and 5th Sundays

 

Elementary Sunday School Volunteer needs at 10:45

Kindergarten: 4 small group leaders, twice a month

1st grade: 2 small group leaders, twice a month

2nd grade: 1 Master teacher weekly or 2 Master teachers, twice a month

4 small group leaders, twice a month

3rd grade: 1 Master Teacher, twice a month

5 small group leaders, twice a month

4th grade: 3 small group leaders, twice a month

5th grade: 3 small group leaders, weekly for a season

Wing Supervisor on 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays.

Master Teacher: communicating the Biblical theology of our church in a child friendly manner.

Goal: engaging a large group in the weekly lesson.

Prep time: 1.5hr per week/Sunday morning commitment: 30minutes

Commitment: 1 year (Sept – Sept)

Responsible for preparing and teaching the lesson to the entire grade level.

Responsible for preparing all visuals needed for the lesson and/or requesting assistance for the developing of such items by Wednesday of the week needed.

Responsible for finding your own sub and communicating to coordinator.

 

Small Group Leader (all grades): building relationships with a small group of boys or girls; guiding them through the application of the lesson; facilitating prayer time.

Goal: build meaningful relationships with and among your small group members

Prep time: 30min per week/Sunday morning commitment: 1.5hr

Commitment: Full year, Academic year(Sept-May) or Summer(May-August)

Responsible for receiving and returning children to parents/guardians

Responsible for checking attendance

Responsible for leading children through the various aspects of the day – Worship, Teaching, Small Group and Prayer.

Responsible for finding your own sub and communicating to coordinator.
