Ways to Support Barefoot Republic Camp
We’re hosting our Community Partner Barefoot Republic, day camp on our church campus July 13-17 for rising kindergarten through rising 5th grade students from our church and community.
As a church, there are many ways that we can support Barefoot’s staff. Please stop by the ministry table in the Back Lobby after worship on May 10 and 17 to learn more!
Donate Camp Supplies
Drop off in the Back Lobby or use Barefoot’s Amazon wishlist to donate directly.
Boxes of Individual Pre-packaged Snacks (Chips, popcorn, granola bars, protein bars, meat sticks etc)
• Cases of Gatorade or ICE
• Elmers Glue or Glue Sticks
• Play Doh
• Rolls of colored masking tape and duct tape
• Colored Pencils and sharpeners
• Football/basketball
Provide a Staff Meal
Sign up to bring breakfast or dinner for the Camp staff.
Meal Financial Donation
Make a financial donation to provide meals for the Camp staff.
Be a Host Home
Opening your home to Barefoot Republic summer staff is a meaningful way to love, serve, and support those investing in our campers. These young leaders come from all over with a deep love for Christ and a passion for sharing the Gospel. As a host home, you have a unique opportunity to build relationships, offer encouragement, and be part of what God is doing in their lives.
Host Home Expectations
To serve as an official host home, you agree to provide:
Basic Accommodations
• Comfortable sleeping space for assigned staff
• A bathroom separate from adult hosts (staff may share with children, but not at the same time)
What’s Optional (Not Required)
• Meals
• Transportation
• Bedding (air mattresses available through Barefoot Republic if needed)
• Laundry access
Commitment
• Maintain consistent housing arrangements (avoid changes once assigned)
