How to join Christ Community
Adults interested in membership at Christ Community Church begin the process by attending our Membership Class. This 4-week class is held on a Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in fall and the spring. The class covers our beliefs, mission, and vision, so that you will understand the how and why of what we do.
Leaders will walk you through what it means to be a member and how we function as a community with the goal of helping you connect and serve.
After the Membership Class, the membership process continues by meeting with an elder, followed by admission to membership by vote of the Session leadership team. Finally, we encourage all new members to participate in New Member Sunday.

Learn more about the process
We are excited to walk alongside you and your child (through 5th grade) in their journey of faith. We offer a four week Kids’ Journey to the Table class in the spring and fall, which is designed to create intentional space for faith conversations at church and at home. At the end of this class, it can be decided whether your child is ready to move forward.
Parents and guardians who wish to participate in this class can register for our upcoming spring class.
Students (Middle School and High School) who are ready to become Communing Members of the church—those who have made a profession of faith in Christ and are ready to participate in Communion—will meet with an Elder.
Children and students who are ready to become members, will first meet with an Elder specifically equipped to talk with those who are younger in the faith, in order to discuss their understanding of what it means to be a member of the body of Christ. Parents are encouraged to attend this elder meeting. After this meeting, the child or student will then be part of the membership vote of the Session Leadership.
Parents and guardians of children who are ready to become a member can contact Lisa Florian to begin the membership process.
Baptism at Christ Community
What we believe…
Scripture, along with the Westminster Confession of Faith, guides our beliefs about baptism. It dictates that baptism is a sacrament of the New Testament, ordained by Jesus Christ, both for the solemn admission into the visible Church, and a sign and seal of the covenant of grace of ingrafting us into Christ, regeneration, remission of sins, and of giving up unto God, through Jesus Christ, to walk in the newness of life.
Children
Members of our church who wish to present their child or children for baptism may contact Lisa Florian to begin the process.
Adults
Adults interested in becoming a church member but who have never been baptized may be baptized on New Member Sunday before the congregation. To learn more, contact Lisa Florian.
