Prayer
What is Prayer?
Prayer is simply talking with God in a real and honest way. It’s a place where we can come just as we are—bringing our thoughts, questions, gratitude, and needs—knowing God welcomes us. Prayer isn’t about having the right words; it’s about being present with a God who listens and cares.
The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. Psalm 145:18

If you'd like to pray for the needs of our church family, we'd love to share those with you. Each week our Care Coordinator, BJ Hutchins, sends a prayer email with the requests* and praises we're bringing before the Lord—an easy way to stay connected and support others through prayer.
Email "Add me to the Prayer List," to [email protected] to sign up.
*We always ask for permission before sharing prayer requests.
Each Wednesday a group of Christ Community members meets for a dedicated time to gather, quiet their hearts, and seek the Lord together. The group spends unhurried time praying for the received requests* from our church and community.
Whether you're comfortable praying out loud or prefer to listen and reflect, this is a welcoming space to experience God's presence and join with others in lifting our needs and praises to Him.
Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. in Room C227 (upstairs)
Next meeting: Jan 7
*We always ask for permission before sharing prayer requests.
