A Journey to Easter

What is Lent?

Lent is a 40 day season of reflection and preparation beginning with Ash Wednesday and leading up to Easter Sunday, when Christians celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection.

The word “Lent” means a period of preparation, and this season invites everyone—whether you’re curious, exploring, or part of the faith—to pause, reflect, and consider what a life following Jesus means.

Lent invites us to slow down and contemplate the possibility of new life in Jesus.

Read the Gospel of Mark

To help you engage with God’s Word this Lent, we’ve created a Gospel of Mark reading plan. This simple plan guides you through Mark’s account of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, helping you reflect daily on His story and draw closer to Him.

Lent Services

Through Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, and Good Friday, the services trace the journey of Jesus in a way that shows transformation and hope. No matter where you are on your journey—curious, questioning, or already following Jesus—you are invited to attend these services.

THE JOURNEY TO THE CROSS BEGINS

Ash Wednesday | Feb 18

6:30 p.m.
In the Worship Center

Why We Gather

Join us for a reflective worship service as we remember Jesus’s journey to the cross through Scripture and song. During the service, you’ll have the opportunity to receive ashes on your forehead—a simple reminder of our need for God’s grace. Kids are welcome and encouraged to attend with their families.

Nursery and preschool childcare are provided.

Jesus Enters Jerusalem

Palm Sunday | March 29

10:30 a.m.
In the Worship Center

Why We Gather

We remember and celebrate Jesus’s joyful entry into Jerusalem, welcomed by crowds waving palm branches.

This service marks the beginning of Holy Week, inviting us to rejoice together before walking through the events of Jesus’s arrest and crucifixion. As part of the service, the congregation will wave palm branches in celebration and reflection.

Nursery and preschool childcare are provided.

Remembering Jesus

Good Friday | Apr 3

6:30 p.m.
In the Worship Center

Why We Gather

We remember the darkest day of Holy Week—the arrest, trial, crucifixion, death, and burial of Jesus. In this service, we hear and rejoice in the story of these events as told in one of the Gospels. We also sing songs that magnify the reality of Jesus’ death, when He, the King and Passover Lamb, was willingly sacrificed to bring us the peace of God’s forgiveness.

Nursery and preschool childcare are provided.

For Families with Kids

Join us on the Resurrection Trail
April 3 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Step into an interactive, kid-friendly journey through the final week of Jesus’ life—designed for children of all ages and the grown-ups who love them. Families will experience sights, sounds, smells, and tastes as they walk together toward the cross and the resurrection.

Join Us for Easter Sunday

All of Lent leads to Easter Sunday—the celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection.

After walking through reflection, suffering, and the reality of the cross, Easter marks the moment when death does not have the final word. It is a celebration of new life, renewed hope, and the possibility that restoration is still possible.
