What is Advent?
Advent is the time of year when the Church anticipates the coming holiday in celebration of Jesus’s first arrival as a baby, and the still-to-come final arrival of Jesus as the Triumphal and Victorious King over sin and death.
How to Observe Advent
Observing Advent involves practices that cultivate expectant and patient waiting. By observing Advent, your focus will be less on the busyness of the season and more on the true and free gift of Christmas—Jesus.
