Volunteer with FrankTown Christmas Shopping Event

We’re excited to share two upcoming volunteer opportunities with our Community Partner, FrankTown Open Hearts.

Franktown Christmas Shopping Event
Saturday, Dec 13

This event is a tradition at FrankTown. Chaperone families (we call “Shopperones”) are paired with students, and they take them shopping for Christmas presents for the student's family.

Here’s how you can help:

This event wouldn’t be possible without the help of many volunteers. We need:

Shopperone family volunteers

Food donations

Gift-wrapping helpers

Logistics volunteers

Every contribution makes a difference!

More Details About Shopperone Family Volunteers
Each Shopperone group must include two adults over the age of 21.

After taking the FrankTown child to shop, the Shopperone volunteers bring the child back to the church for a Christmas feast, pictures, and gift wrapping, after which they take the child home with their presents and meet the child's family.

Shopperone volunteers will gather in the Worship Center at 8 a.m. to be paired with a FrankTown child, receive instructions, and prepare to head out for shopping around 9 a.m.
