Sixty & More Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner

Join us on November 19 at the Harpeth House as we bring back a favorite Sixty & More tradition: our Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner! It’s been a while since we’ve gathered for a potluck, and we’re excited to share an evening of delicious food, friendship, and uplifting conversation.

The Sixty & More Steering Committee will provide the meat entrée, bread, and drinks. Please bring a favorite dish to share based on the first letter of your last name:

  • A-H: Warm side dish

  • I-P: Salads

  • Q-W: Dessert

We are delighted to welcome two special guests who will share their unique, inspiring stories of God’s faithfulness.

Olivia Bahemuka, a friend of Ellen Faulks, grew up in Uganda and has a remarkable story of God’s provision in bringing her to the United States. Olivia has taught nursing at Belmont University, led mission teams around the world, and is preparing to serve in Govan, Scotland, just outside Glasgow, through Mission to the World (MTW), the global mission-sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America. She will share about the spiritual needs in Scotland, where churches face increasing challenges, and opportunities to partner with her in prayer and financial support.

Our featured speaker, Dr. Mary Beth Bernheisel, senior pastor at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Franklin and Mary Ann Fitzgerald’s niece, will share the miraculous story of how she and her family navigated the difficult circumstances surrounding her husband Jay's liver failure and transplant. Her story is a beautiful reminder of how God strengthens and heals not only our bodies but also our souls.

What better way to kick off the Thanksgiving season than by enjoying a meal with friends and hearing from two of God’s faithful witnesses as they share testimonies of Christ’s mercy and grace?

The event is free, but please RSVP through Realm by November 18. If you plan to bring a dish, please select “Attending + Bringing a Dish to Share” on Realm. We hope you’ll join us!
