Kids Sunday Classes
Christ Community
Kids are an important part of our church, and there’s a place for every child in Sunday Classes.
From Nursery through 5th grade, kids learn God’s Word, build friendships, and grow in faith through age-specific teaching, hands-on activities, and plenty of fun along the way.
Each week is an opportunity to explore, create, play, ask questions, and discover more about who God is and what it means to follow Jesus.

Explore Sunday Classes By Age
Nursery
Babies and Toddlers
Your infant is rocked and played with in a safe environment. Your toddler is taught that the Bible is God’s word and that Jesus loves them through songs, sensory play, and story time.
Grades K-3rd
Our K–3rd graders explore a Bible story each month through hands-on, multi-sensory workshops designed to make learning fun and memorable. Each week, they’ll have an opportunity to Make It through a craft, Discover It through a science activity, Cook It through a hands-on cooking experience, or Act It through theater. Along the way, kids build community while growing in Scripture through a biblical timeline, Bible memory games, and prayer.
Elementary
Preschool
Ages 3-5+ Years (PreK)
For our most concrete thinkers, we introduce your child to God’s word through a multimodal approach – using all five senses. Each week your child will spend time praying, hearing God’s word, interacting with the monthly story through sensory play, and learning the foundations of our faith through active catechism games.
Upper Elementary
Grades 4-5
Our 4th and 5th graders grow in faith and friendship as they explore the truths of Scripture together through the New City Catechism, while building relationships and preparing for the transition into Student Ministry.
A Little Extra Fun
Our K–5th graders have opportunities each week to earn points for things like attendance, bringing their Bible, and participating in memory work. They can save their points and visit Mr. Doug’s Store to redeem them for fun items. It’s a simple way to encourage participation and add a little extra excitement to Sunday Classes.
