You're invited to a special Senior Adult Ministry banquet, commemorating 10 years devoted to seniors. There is no charge for the banquet, but donations are appreciated.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by The Road Crew — America’s Route 66 band. The band is known as the official musical ambassadors of Route 66.
About The Road Crew
Band members are Woody Bomar, Joe Loesch, Don King and Jason Harmon. All four live in Nashville and Woody is a member of Christ Community. Though they all have successful careers in other areas of music, entertainment and media, their passion is supporting the preservation of Route 66, the first numbered highway across America.
Presenting original songs about “The Mother Road,” the group also plays popular rockabilly and pop music of the 1950s and 60s, music they call the sound track of the heyday of “America’s Main Street.” They have performed for Route 66 Festivals all along the 2,400-mile road that runs from Chicago to Los Angeles.
The band locally provides entertainment at Puckett’s Restaurants in Franklin, Murfreesboro and Columbia as well as Fox & Locke Restaurant in Leiper’s Fork. The Road Crew’s shows present a mixture of toe-tapping, upbeat music along with good-natured humor.
