About Meadowlarks
The four members of the Meadowlarks make up a talented group of vocalists and musicians, each with decades of musical experience. The group members are: Lisa Carrie, Sarah Huffman, David Huntsinger, and Janet McMahan. The group, made up of longtime friends, was formed about four years ago.

Performing as the Meadowlarks, these entertainers have played before a variety of audiences across Middle Tennessee and have an impressive list of credentials individually.

Lisa Carrie, who performs vocals and plays the violin, started her career portaying Cinderella at Disney World and has sung backup for Wayne Newton, Mickey Gilley, Eddie Arnold and many others.

Sarah Huffman, who does vocals and plays the violin, percussion and melodica, has sung in the studio and onstage with artists such as Amy Grant and Vince Gill. Additionaly she has been an editor for church music publishers for more than 40 years.

David Huntsinger, who plays piano and does the arrangements, is one of Nashville’s top studio pianists. He has played on hundreds of recordings for artist such as Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin, Amy Grant, Floyd Cramer, Willy Nelson and Ricky Skaggs.

Janet McMahan, who does vocals and plays the paino and melodica, has more than 1,500 published and recorded songs recorded with artists such as Lynn Anderson, Sonny James and  Sandy Patti. She has also worked on recordings for Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson and Steve Winwood.
